THE CRUX OF IT: The fear inside is manifest as hatred outside.
Civil unrest has become more frequent lately.
Whether the basis of that public discontent is another police shooting, like in Wisconsin most recently, or whether its an organized gathering to prevent pollution and harmful business ventures like in North Dakota.
On Tuesday, hundreds of Indigenous Americans stopped the construction of an oil pipline near the Standing Rock Sioux reservation in North Dakota. That pipeline was at the heart of a 3 billion dollar project that is intended to send 500,000 barrels of crude oil a day from North Dakota to Illinois.
The Sioux contend that the pipeline would pollute the Missouri and Little Missouri rivers as well as disturb sacred sites.
The Tribe has filed a lawsuit against the Army Corps of Engineers as they are the body that approved the construction.
Although the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a man in Wisconsin are still subject to scrutiny, the death has erupted the state in unrest. The states youth have released a collective cry of outrage and the officials have issued curfews against the young.
While these are but two examples, the contention is that the collective body in power is now being confronted with the frustration and defiance of those that they used to count on for passivity.
That is a characteristic that is quickly becoming antiquated.
The days of submissive acceptance are past us.
The tacit compliance that was expected and even counted upon has become unpalatable.
The Season of Resistance has come.
THIS FACT SCARES THEM!
The structure that’s in place, and has been for centuries, is facing a growing population of resisting and demonstrative people that have no use at all for those that would bring about harm.
THAT TRUTH SCARES THEM PROFOUNDLY!
They are terrified of their own shadows.
Those shadows are in fact the harmful legacy of inequality, prejudice, and hatred that’s hung over this country’s so-called-united head for decades.
Those shadows have become greatly intimidating and potent.
Those shadows were created through malice and the true fear is that It’ll be returned to them with the same neglect, disdain, and conceit that it was offered.
That fear is real in them and it is powerful. It drives them.
