THE CRUX OF IT: One more puzzle piece that suggests likelihood.

The first detection of clouds of water outside of our solar system has officially occurred.

The discovery was made on a brown dwarf -a low mass star – called WISE 0855 , which lies 7.2 light years from earth.

It is reported to be dominated by water vapor and clouds with a Jupiter-like appearance.

The implications of this find demonstrate the commonality of elements that comprise our Universe.

Water is ubiquitous.

Using a certain line of reasoning, it would follow that since water is also fundamental to the majority of life as we know it, then, life is also potentially ubiquitous. There are of course other necessary components but finding water is akin to finding the technical blueprints for a machine that is known to exist.

Proof…?

No, none exists at this point.

Likely…?
