THE CRUX OF IT: You do not have my support.

 

Very few people,as a whole, are in favor of the Republican nominee Drumpf’s potential ascension to the Presidency. For the most part, only two categories desire this; the blindly misinformed and the potential beneficiaries of money and position (in other words- bought off lackeys).

At the same time, I would assert the same thing about the presumptive Democratic nominee, Clinton. She is objectively less egregious by far than Drumpf but largely undesirable just the same.

 

 

Drumpf is an oafish, loud, fast-talking con-man / salesman and Clinton is from “political royalty” that simply believes it is her turn and her destiny.

It goes without saying that I will not be voting for the Right-Wing orangutan, but, I also have no intentions (at this point) of voting for the person that I believe to be a bought-and-paid-for, corporate insider, professional politician with historically proven poor judgement (1), veiled self-serving bigotry, and an ego that radiates entitlement.

DO NOT FORM A CONCLUSION THAT I AM NAIVE, COMPLICIT, UNREALISTIC, UNEVOLVED, OR EVEN JUST A POOR LOSER.

You would be insulting my intelligence.

 

I would, however, accept the labels of either CYNIC or NIHILIST.

We may get the leader that we deserve and the result of that could possibly prove catastrophic. I’m well aware of that. But, the chaos that might ensue may lead to the kind of forced maturity that strife can encourage.

I may just watch the system implode and encourage the process of reconstruction.

While I don’t desire the negative years that may follow, I can look forward to the potential growth that can be initiated from them.

 

 

But, we have proven to be slow to learn.
