THE CRUX OF IT: Alternative possibilities and origins exist
What makes one belief or theory more acceptable than another?
The answer is FORCE. Force comes in the form of laws, societal pressure, stigmatization, social ostracizing and both physical and mental aggression.
Beliefs arise from force and not from evidence.
In five billion years, our sun will expand into a red giant and envelope the Earth, incinerating it. When that happens, the solar radiation of our enlarged sun will be lessened on Saturn’s moon Titan. Titan’s cloudy outer atmosphere will thin exposing the land below and the surface temperature will rise allowing it to possibly become the most habitable place in our solar system.
Now, theoretically, we have the ability to “seed” that world with primitive life in what could be considered an interplanetary terrarium.
No one responsible for that science experiment would witness the outcome. No being in existence in that distant time would necessarily remember the originators of it. Neither of those things would be the point of this post.
The point to ponder here is this: If we can potentially do this now- MIGHT WE BE THE MANIFESTATION OF AN EXACTLY SIMILAR ENDEAVOR?
