America’s Promise Temporarily Achieved

What could a people that were held in bondage and denied education, financial opportunity, health, peace, and security for hundreds of years ever hope to achieve?

The citizens of Tulsa Oklahoma gave a resounding answer to that question.

THEN THEY WERE MURDERED AND THEIR TOWN WAS DESTROYED.

On June 19th 2020, the Drumpf-the simple Orange Ape in office planned to hold a rally in Tulsa OK to spew his poisonous rhetoric and to sew division.

Can you imagine him stating ‘There were very good people on BOTH sides!’ about that terrible hate-filled massacre?

If you can’t see that, you can’t see clearly.

Fortunately, he canceled the propaganda and stated that it would be held the following day.

His presence would have been an insult to the slaughtered residents of the city and to those that survived the massacre.

Most saw this as an insensitive, ignorant, and intentional provocation.

I’m one of those.

Some also feel that he didn’t even know what the holiday was. I’d also buy that. It’s said that an African Descended secret service member had to explain it to him.

Regardless, the day will go without his fetid presence.

The day can also be celebrated as it should be. Its import will grow as it should.

That day is known as Juneteenth. This is a commemoration of the day that enslaved people in Texas were (finally) told about their emancipation.

The feckless primate claims that he intended to celebrate the holiday, and that he is responsible for making it known and ‘famous’.

Well, that’s just dumb!

Just another example of a self-serving Caucasian person claiming responsibility for something they had to discover years after the fact.

I don’t believe that he has any more desire to celebrate the eventual emancipation of Africans any more than I desire to celebrate the false discovery and genocide perpetrated by the murdering Cristoforo Colombo, better known as Columbus Day.
