Roots! Bloody Roots!

When some protest…They are met with weapons and unequal force!

BATON ROUGE, LA -JULY 09: Baton Rouge police rush the crowd of protesters and start making arrest on July 9, 2016 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Alton Sterling was shot by a police officer in front of the Triple S Food Mart in Baton Rouge on July 5th, leading the Department of Justice to open a civil rights investigation. The scenes above are from the Ferguson protest, Alton Sterling shooting protest, Dakota Pipeline protest and Kap’s silent and peaceful protest of police brutality.

In each instance, overwhelming militaristic police force was leveled against the largely peaceful and unarmed so-called citizens of this country. The explicit intent was to silence and thoroughly ELIMINATE any and all resistance.

Let’s be clear- the intent was not to keep peace or to protect property or to perform the basic functions of the job – the purpose of the armored vehicles and mass force was to SUPPRESS THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA.

Louisiana is an open carry state; which means that the citizens had EVERY RIGHT to arm themselves and stand (or push) against the occupying force that threatened their very lives.

But, just imagine the bloodshed that would have resulted in that!

North and South Dakota are also open carry states…do you think the Indigenous People there could have gun in hand?

OF COURSE NOT!

Neither of those groups of people would even remotely be allowed to threaten ANYONE let alone government officials.

In the case of Colin Kaepernick, he was called everything that could be thought of from Un-American to a son-of-a-bitch by the Orange Ape in office.

Why?

The answer is to ensure that he knew and remained in his PLACE!

Think about it… All he did was to calmly and quietly state that he didn’t like the unfair injustice he saw WHILE DOING IT FROM A PRONE POSITION!

When others protest…THEY meet others with weapons and unequal force!

Eric Parker from central Idaho aims his weapon from a bridge as protesters gather by the Bureau of Land Management’s base camp, where cattle that were seized from rancher Cliven Bundy are being held, near Bunkerville, Nevada April 12, 2014. The U.S. Bureau of Land Management on Saturday said it had called off an effort to round up Bundy’s herd of cattle that it had said were being illegally grazed in southern Nevada, citing concerns about safety. The conflict between Bundy and U.S. land managers had brought a team of armed federal rangers to Nevada to seize the 1,000 head of cattle.

In contrast, these past scenes were taken during the Bundy standoff, the so-called crisis at the border (vigilante militias), and the armed and rabid protests currently going on in Michigan against Covid 19 measures.

It’s strange but when Black Lives Matters was criticized, they were called disrespectful to the police and a dangerous threat…

If only they would have acted appropriately like these fine people…

Really, what happened to the Blue Lives Matter rhetoric? Who exactly do these unbalanced people think they’d be attacking? Why is LITERALLY pointing a gun at the police acceptable but kneeling silently is a damnable offense? It’s almost as if that was never really the issue….

With the election six months away, and the mobilization of these hostile groups, what will a potential loss of their most ardent orangutan patron look like? Once these irrational and self-interested crazed men AND women gather, will they go away? They have in the past but don’t you sense their growing desperation?

What are the glaring similarities that should be apparent in these two examples?

What do both the militia/police standing against aggrieved people in Ferguson and the Dakotas and the armed and threatening men and women complaining about their Governors and State’s Rights have in common?

Answer that and you get to the root of it all…
