THE CRUX OF IT: The last opportunity to avoid the fall.

 

 

 

 

The Electoral College is scheduled to vote on Monday which would mark the end to this disturbing election cycle with the nomination of the Orange Super villain Drumpf as the 45th President.

Fortunately there are reasonable people working to prevent this.

According to the progressive advocacy group Avaaz, a survey showed that majority of people (52 percent) favored delaying the process until clarification could be given on Russia’s interference with the election.

 

 

Some states mandate that electors vote the way their state instructs, but the 10th Circuit Court ruled late on Friday that electors who vote their conscience rather than their state’s preference cannot be removed as electors. The court covers the region of Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Utah and Wyoming.

Drumpf could be denied the nomination if 37 electors decided to go against their respective states and vote against the Republican Pres. Elect.

To date, only one elector has had the courage to proclaim their intention to do so.

We can only hope that sober reality and conscientiousness over takes the electors Monday.

But…

Fortitude and courage in Politics has proven to be an oxymoron.
