The primary goal of the law is too often the assertion of power and control rather than helpfulness.
Establishing position and dominance takes the place of serving.
That stems, in fact, from weakness and insecurity.
Everything established demonstrates who is actually in control and who will actually be regarded as authority.
The need to exercise that point is one reason that positive relations can’t be established.
Police are too often – BUT NOT IN EVERY CASE – not intent on helping at all.
